    • The Secretariat of the World Movement for Democracy is responsible for facilitating democracy-building networks and communications among World Movement participants. However, given a number of important Asia-wide networks already in existence, it is best not to duplicate their efforts. Instead of creating yet another network, therefore, this Web site provides links to several existing networks in the region.

    In addition to network links, this Web section also includes information about organizations participating in the World Movement in Asia, publications and research materials, funding sources, and internship and training opportunities.

      This section lists leading democracy networks in the Asia and Pacific region. It includes a brief description of each network, contact information, and a link to its Web site.

      Search the World Movement Participants Database by selecting "Asia" as the Regional focus. The Participants Database can be searched by the following fields: Participating Organization, Participating Individual, Location of an Organization, Assemblies Attended, Topical Focus of Work, Country Focus of Work, Regional Focus of Work, and Types of Activity.
