World Movement’s Sixth Assembly Report Now AvailableThe World Movement’s Sixth Assembly Report is now available in hard copy and online in PDF format as well as in an interactive format with pictures and video clips. The Report contains the recommendations and proposed initiatives that resulted from plenary sessions, panel discussions, and some 55 workshops at the Assembly. The Report also features excerpts from the addresses delivered by Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Former Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim, and the presentations made by Esraa Rashid of the Egyptian Democracy Academy; president of the Fondation Espoir in Haiti, Hans Tippenhaur; and World Youth Movement for Democracy activist Tapera Kapuya of Zimbabwe. In addition, the Democracy Courage Tributes presented at the John B. Hurford Memorial Dinner during the Assembly are also highlighted in the Report along with the announcement of the winners of the Global Youth Essay Contest conducted by the World Youth Movement for Democracy.
