The Foundation has been deeply involved in multiple activities that have contributed to breakthrough elections in Slovakia, Croatia, and Yugoslavia. For example, the Foundation contributed to the increase of participation of first time voters in Slovakia from 20 percent (1994 General Assembly elections) to 80 percent (1998 General Assembly elections).

Spil'nyi Prostir (Common Space) and Equal Access Committee

The association, "Spil'nyi Prostir," and the Equal Access Committee encourage Ukrainian voters to deepen their knowledge about the issues of the campaign and monitor news reporting to expose bias. They are monitoring both print and electronic media in Ukraine during the six months leading up to the March 2002 parliamentary elections.
