What, exactly, is a WILG?
WILG, or rather the Washington International Librarian's Group, was formed in the Spring of 1997 by a group of librarians in the Washington DC area who had a mutual interest in sharing information on various topics related to international affairs. This web site provides information on meetings and events, the group's favorite Internet Resources, and a profiles of the libraries and librarians associated with the group.
Are There Any Dues to Join WILG?
No. The WILG is an informal group, which exists virtually through the Internet. It is open to all those interested in sharing information on topics related to libraries and international affairs. There are no officers, membership dues, or official affiliation with any groups.
Who are the WILG's Associates
The WILG's Associates are a number of Professional Librairans who have a mutual interest in sharing information on various topics related to international affairs. Professionals associated with the WILG have provided both their contact information and a hypertext links to their library web pages and/or content-rich resources on their organization's web sites.

Just submit your name and e-mail address.
Shortly after filling out and submitting your information, you will receive a "Confirmation" e-mail stating that your request to join the list has been sent to the List Administrator. Once the List Administrator approves of your subscription you will receive a "Welcome" e-mail message with instructions on how to use the list. Keep these instructions for they may come in handy later.
